Associaçåo Residentes e Proprietários Cerro Azul

Living in a community
The AREPCA Association is founded on the belief that a strong community is one in which individuals recognize their common rights and responsibilities in the same residential area.
Our approach is to foster a sense of community spirit and to build bridges between people from diverse backgrounds.
A community working collaboratively towards the betterment of our neighborhood.

AREPCA believes in the importance of maintaining a clean and beautiful community. We understand that the upkeep of our homes and gardens is not only a reflection of ourselves, but also impacts the value of our properties. Let's work together to keep our community in top shape!

In areas of coexistence, such as urbanizations, the speed limit is min. 20km / max 40km. Considering all the families and domestic animals in Cerro Azul, let's keep this in mind

What are the benefits of having an association in a residential community?

PEDRO R. - PORTUGUESE
An association in a residential community can bring multiple benefits, particularly to the residents/owners, to the place where it is located - Olhão - and to the region in which it is situated - the Algarve.
An association with a strong identity, representative of its members, which can and should embrace the diversity of ideas that underpin the rights and duties of citizens, in favor of population and environmental' sustainability and social and cultural inclusion.

JUDY C. - ENGLISH
Membership of a resident's association allows residents to feel, and act as part of a team with a common objective. It is important to understand that specifics to urbanization living regularly need addressing whilst taking into account resident's objectives.
Our association provides a forum for residents to meet formally to consider matters of local concern and importance.

FRANÇOISE H. - FRENCH
In the past, we felt isolated when facing the problems of the urbanisation. Now we feel stronger and have greater potential, as demonstrated by the concrete improvements made in 2023. This creates a sense of community and belonging. A real bond between neighbours that motivates us to continue our efforts!
